WATER FAQs

Is there fluoride in the water?

Fluoride is often added to municipal water supplies, but it is generally not added to bottled water products. Spring water may contain natural fluoride levels. For purified products from Four Season Beverages, any fluoride in the source water is removed in the purification process.

Is the water tested?

Comparative analyses are performed daily in accordance with State and Federal regulatory standards. We test for organic chemicals and inorganic chemicals using an approved independent laboratory as regulated by the FDA.

Why are minerals added to water?

For purified drinking water with minerals very small amounts of high quality grade minerals are added. The sodium level in such water is always less than 1 milligram per 8 ounce serving. This is done strictly for taste and has no nutritional value.

What is reverse osmosis?

Reverse osmosis is a process that removes nearly all of the salts or minerals in the source water. Reverse osmosis works by forcing water through a semi-permeable membrane at high pressure and is a very effective method for purification.

Is it safe to refill the bottles or freeze them?

Our bottles are filled under sanitary conditions and refilling the bottle is not recommended. Freezing the bottle is harmless to the product; however as water freezes it expands and will distort the shape of the bottle causing instability. It may potentially expand through to the cap and break the seal.

How should I store my water?

The International Bottled Water Association (IBWA) advises consumers to store bottled water at room temperature or cooler, out of direct sunlight, and away from solvents and chemicals such as gasoline, paint thinners, household cleaners and dry cleaning chemicals.

What is CRV?

The California Refund Value (CRV) is the charge amount collected by the state on every bottle of beverage shipped by manufacturer within State of California, and paid to consumers when they recycle beverage containers at certified recycling centers. The minimum amount collected or refund value established for each type of eligible beverage container is 5 cents for each container under 24 ounces and 10 cents for each container 24 ounces or greater.

What is private label?

Private label bottled water is a smart way to deliver your message and advertise your business! When you provide bottled water to your company’s visitors, why advertise the name of the company that bottled the water? Instead, advertise your own company by giving them water with your own logo and message on the bottle!
Bottled water with your company’s message on it will be seen by dozens of people in cup holders, in the user’s hands, and on their desks, while pens and key chains wind up out of sight in the user’s pocket.

Can I provide my own artwork?

Yes. But to avoid any mistakes we encourage our clients to use our graphic designer that can provide you with professional support.

It will depend on quantity of your order and bottles availability, but usually can take approximately 3 to 4 weeks after you approve your label. Specialty bottles can take longer.

SHUNGITE WATER FAQs

What is shungite?

Shungite is a rare, black mineraloid that is formed during the Precambrian era time, more than 600 million years ago and found primarily in Russia. Elite or Noble Grade I Shungite contains up to 98% of carbon, while Grade II (Black Shungite) and Grade III (Gray Shungite) contain only up to 70% of carbon.

Is shungite water acidic or alkaline?

Originally Shungite water is acidic. Its pH ranges from 3 to 5.5, while drinking water has a pH of 7.2 to 7.3. To reduce the acidity in Vitafont® Shungite Water we use other minerals to raise the pH of the water and make it safe to drink.

What does shungite do to water?

Shungite can clean the water by removing almost all harmful organic compounds such as pesticides, chlorine, phenol, nitrates, bacteria, and other micro-organisms. It also enriches the water with fullerenes, which possess several health benefits.

What are the fullerenes that shungite contains?

A fullerene is a spherical carbon molecule that can penetrate a cell without damaging the membrane. These molecules are largely responsible for the healing properties of Shungite and its effectiveness for water purification.

What is shungite color?

Grade I (Elite or Noble) Shungite have a shiny silver appearance, while Grade II (Black Shungite) have dull black color, and Grade III (Gray Shungite) has a dull grayish color. The lower grades of Shungite have a lower content of Fullerenes that are responsible for several health benefits.
